Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present and analyze the narratives of Lebanon-Brazilian community, in the migration process between Brazil and Lebanon, with the consolidation of return, in the various groups investigated, through the Oral History of life. The groups investigated were Lebanese first generation immigrants; second generation women descendants married to Lebanese, at the age bracket from thirty and fifty years old; second and third generation young descendants, as well as non-descendent Brazilian women, married to Lebanese immigrants. The article addresses issues related to the reintegration of immigrants and their descendants who returned from Brazil to Lebanon within a new cultural practice, often translated as experiences of frustration and failure.
