The process of expansion of the Landless Workers Movement - MST for the Northeast is due to the sending of southern militants, particularly from Santa Catarina, who migrated to the Northeast between 1985 and 1988, and live there until today. Through the analysis of the trajectory of these actors, one can see how a militancy style was built. At the time, very young people with similar social and cultural origins, like religious missionaries, gave their life to generate and to reproduce the "landless" identity.Downloads
