Abstract

Traditionally, terminology is considered a provider of lexical LSP information, and translators as one of the major end-user groups of such information. Conversely, “good terminological practice” has consistently mistrusted the reliability of translated texts as primary data sources. Translation as a professional practice, however, since it operates essentially on the textual and situational levels, proves itself a relevant generator of bilingual terminological solutions.
